Wire framed, light weight 1900's derby hat.  The wire has been wraped in copper fabric prior to being covered by leaf printed chiffon.   Adorned with a satin ribbon, faux wheat straws and silk flowers.

A head piece created for a production of Henry VIII at Cincinnati Shakespeare company.  This piece was modeled after the fashions of Queen Elizabeth.

This French hood has been built of a realatively new product called Inn-Spire.  A product that carried components of both buckram and felt.  Allowing for a stiff base that gets rid of any need for wire framing or baby flannel.
The hat has been lined in a rust colored poly cottonand covered in gold taffeta and a decorative ribbon that has been pieced together.  Lastly, the french hood has been adorned with a string of pearls.
